Your videos never leave your device
All AI analysis runs on-device. We have no access to your recordings — ever.
Overview
RisingAce is built with privacy at its core. Video analysis happens entirely on your device — your child's footage is never uploaded to any server. This policy explains what data we do collect, why, and how we protect it.
What we collect
When you create an account, we collect your email address and a display name. If you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive only what those services share (typically your email and name). We collect session metadata such as stroke scores and drill completions — not the video itself. We also collect anonymised analytics (app usage events, crash reports) to help us improve the product.
What we never collect
We never upload, store, or process video recordings on any external server. All video analysis is performed entirely on your device using on-device AI. Your child's footage never leaves your iPhone.
How we use your data
We use your account information to identify you across devices and back up your session history to the cloud (if you are signed in). We use anonymised analytics to understand how the app is used and where to improve. We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising.
Third-party services
RisingAce uses the following third-party services: Firebase (Google) for account authentication and cloud data storage; RevenueCat for subscription management; Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics for anonymised usage analytics and crash reporting. Each of these services has its own privacy policy. We share only the minimum data required for each service to function.
Children's privacy
RisingAce is designed to be used by parents on behalf of their junior players. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. Accounts are created and managed by parents or guardians. If you believe a child has provided personal information without parental consent, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
Data retention
Your account and session data are retained for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from inside the app (Profile → Delete Account) or by emailing privacy@risingace.app. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. To request a copy of your data or to have it deleted, contact us at privacy@risingace.app. We will respond within 30 days.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you via the app or by email. The date at the top of this page reflects when the policy was last updated.
